Delayed gratification involves the art of pushing away the potential of having fun or giving in to your

immediate impulse for a future reward.

We generally want good things in an instant. Say, if I want food, I can head over to the microwave and sort myself out.

A heater offers a great way to get hot water in an instant. But in the real world, good things come slowly.

You have to maintain the patience till things happen. That’s where the thrill comes into play!

When you delay gratification, you’ll develop your patience, resilience, and inner character.

It’s not just about getting what you want. In the grand scheme of things, the journey leads to a more fulfilling outcome.

“The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.”
